Pet Photos with Santa are back! Our 5th annual event is coming up fast – November 29th from 12-4pm! (Pictures will be taken on a first come first serve basis.) As always this fun event is a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes.
The Humane Society is a fantastic cause – it is entirely nonprofit and relies solely on the community for its fundraising. Some of the important tasks the HSKL does includes: providing shelter, food, medical care and love for dogs and cats until they find forever homes, providing education about domestic animals as well as coordinating OSPCA agents who investigate reports of animal cruelty, abuse or neglect. The HSKL needs funds to help pay for the care of the animals they take in including spaying/neutering, vaccinating and microchipping prior to adoption. Currently the HSKL has 13 dogs and 67 cats in their care with more pets (especially cats!) coming in daily.
The Kawartha Animal Hospital team is so pleased to run this special fundraiser! Each year Santa comes to visit KAH and take fun photos with pets and their families. The pictures are priceless! We also have fantastic raffle prizes and yummy snacks for the humans while you wait for your pet’s turn. We ask for a $20 donation towards the Humane Society for your pet’s photo. Please tell family and friends about the event as we hope to raise more funds each year to help the HSKL! Looking forward to seeing you and your furry family member Sunday!
