After Hours Emergency Service

If your pet has an emergency outside of regular Kawartha Animal Hospital hours, please phone Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic at 705-741-5832. Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic is located at 1840 Lansdowne St W, Unit 20, in Peterborough, and is available 24/7 for emergencies.

Sometimes a situation can be dealt with over the phone, but most often your pet will require hands-on care. When we are open , we will do our best to accommodate emergencies, however please call before coming to the hospital so we can advise you on our availability.

Please note that we are closed on the Saturday of every long weekend.
