Dr. Cherie Knox graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2001 (yes, it is the same class as Dr. Susan Vetrovsky). She practiced large and small animal medicine in Eastern Ontario, before moving to Kingston in 2003. During her 8 years in Kingston, she worked in small animal clinics, the regional veterinary emergency hospital and had four children!
Dr. Knox moved to Lindsay in 2011 when her husband joined the Ross Memorial Hospital and has worked as a locum vet while raising her young children. She has a strong interest in international medicine and has travelled extensively in South and Central America as well as Asia. At home, her veterinary interests include advanced dentistry, diagnostic ultrasound, ophthalmology and palliative care. Her goal is to provide exceptional patient care and client communication.
Dr. Knox is also a full time mom, and spends much of her time with her children at competitive soccer, gymnastics and martial arts events. She is also very involved in her childrens’ schools and community.
