Myriam has the very ambitious goal of being a third generation veterinarian following the footsteps of her grandfather and father. Her grandmother was one of the first females to start the veterinarian program at Guelph in 1954. So it would seem that veterinarian medicine and loving animals is really in her genes.
From an early age Myriam has been a “practicing veterinarian” with all of the family pets and farm animals and I mean the whole immediate and extended family! She used to spend more time in her Nanny and Papa’s barn with the cattle, chickens and barn cats then she did in their house.
You will see Myriam at Kawartha Animal Hospital on Saturdays and some evenings helping us do what ever needs doing!
